GeoBlue Announces Rate Increases for July 1st

GeoBlue just announced that Xplorer & Navigator expatriate health plans rates increase effective July 1, 2017.

Standard rate adjustments as reflected in all Online quotes:

Xplorer Plans (Premier, Essential, and Select)
  • Member rates have a flat 7% rate increase across all deductibles and age bands
  • Maternity rates have a 7% increase
  • Optional Rx upgrade is also up 8%
Navigator Plans (Crew, Missionary, and Student)
  • Flat 9% rate increase across all age bands
Child/Rider Rates
  • Child rates have increased 7% across all deductibles and age bands
  • Dental/Vision have a 5% increase
  • Optional RX have a 8% increase

GeoBlue only allows changes to their expat policies on the anniversary date.  So if your renewal date is approaching now is the time to consider making any changes.  In certain markets and certain family profiles we are able to move some of our clients to a plan with Cigna Global.  Their modular based plans for many make sense.  If you have questions reach out anytime.  I hope you find this notice helpful.
