Inbound Immigrants to the United States Have Options…

International Medical Plan for Inbound Immigrants

As if the domestic market for health insurance here in the United States is not confusing enough, how about the needs of the International traveler?  In this post I want to showcase a few plans designed specifically for the Inbound Immigrant who is coming to the United States for a limited period of time.  Depending on a persons needs there can be many different plan designs that can help fulfill their needs for medical insurance while staying in the United States.

One of the more popular, lower cost and easy to apply for plan designs are the Inbound Immigrant plans.  Essentially these types of health plans are indemnity type plans, meaning that they pay a set amount based on a schedule of benefits and the claims are per procedure.  They are cost effective and usually meet the majority of needs for people who have plans to be in the United States for a limited period of time.

SevenCornersLogo2Seven Corners offers three such plan types.  The primary differences between the three plans they offer are based on the length of time one anticipates their trip will be.  The longer you are planning to stay will be your guide to the right plan choice.  You simply need to make sure you select the plan with the appropriate length of coverage periods.
